Openmind Networks, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland and with sales and support offices in Prague, Dubai and Stuttgart is the emerging leader in Next Generation Messaging Systems. Our flagship product, Traffic Control, with a suite of product extensions (Profile, Protect and Adapt), is a multi-protocol messaging router supporting SMS, MMS, IM and IMS.
Openmind Networks had an existing website but looked to Continuum to help broaden its online presence and offer a suite of additional features to its growing international client and prospect base.
Objectives
- Provide Openmind Networks' clients and prospects with an intuitive and easy to navigate website.
- Build on the branding of Openmind Networks and reflect this in an imaginative and crisp design.
- Provide a stepping stone whereby the site will be capable of taking additional features, e.g. client extranet.
- Facilitate easy editing and addition of topic and event specific pages.
- Be easy to update and maintain.
- Implement best practice web design and web development standards.
Strategy
Openmind Networks wanted to build the new website in several stages so as to mange the transition from the old website to the new and introduce the new features in a stepped procedure to its clients and prospects.
The project was scoped and the first phase was launched as planned and Openmind Networks immediately received positive feedback from its client and prospect base. As agreed with Continuum the next phase is in development and is on track. As with all good working relationships new ideas and opportunities arise and Continuum is in the process of building Openmind Networks' .mobi site.
Results
Openmind Networks has witnessed a large increase in traffic to the site and this is reflected in the number of inbound calls and emails requesting further information. The branding of Openmind Networks has been enhanced and the website is reflective of a company that is an emerging leader in its space.
Technology
The website were developed in HTML, ASP.Net with a Microsoft SQL database. Statistics for the sites are generated in Webaliser.
