Experienced Business Development Executive Required

Continuum are a leading web design, development and online marketing agency with a broad range of blue chip corporate and SME clients across an array of sectors. As a strategic part of our growth plans, we are now looking to identify and recruit an experienced and ambitious sales executive to operate in a new business generation role.

If you have a proven sales track record with experience of selling in a new media/digital or IT environment, this role will provide the ideal opportunity for you to develop your career within a fast-paced and exciting company. As a Business Development Executive, you will be tasked with targeting and driving new business. Specifically, this will involve the promotion and selling of the company’s portfolio of services, including web design, web development and online marketing.

You’ll be required to source and identify your own leads, build propositions and make face-to-face presentations where required. The role requires the ability to understand client’s needs and create value-added proposals, while building effective relationships.

As part of our continuous growth we are now inviting applications to fulfil the position of Business Development Executive.

Targets

To achieve the assigned revenue and profit targets on Monthly, Quarter and Annual Basis.

Sales Life-Cycle Management

  • Sell solutions and services in-line with the company’s service offerings.
  • Generate new business accounts.
  • Maintaining and up selling into new accounts generated.
  • Work with and sell alongside the existing sales team.
  • Build executive credibility and be a trusted advisor in all accounts where necessary.
  • Develop a detailed understanding and knowledge of Continuum’s service offerings.
  • Lead Generation is a key element of this role.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Reporting to the Sales Director.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Manage and archive sales related material

Practices and Processes

To operate under the companies guidelines, practices and processes.

Essential

  • A minimum of 2/3 years sales experience of selling IT solutions to corporate clients.
  • Proven sales track record of achievement.
  • Sound IT knowledge – understands the relationships between business issues and web solutions, understands IT basics, jargon and market opportunities.
  • Excellent lead generation skills.
  • Knowledge of the Irish web services market would be advantageous.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Presentation skills.
