Enabling Online Self-Service


The Challenge

Continuum have been working with Energia since 2008. Over this time we have designed and rollout a number of websites, Microsoft SharePoint intranets and extranets.

One significant challenge while working with Energia was to develop an extranet for their Energy Bureau Division in order to extend to their customers a project management and idea feasibility portal.  The functionality required included a system to track projects, meetings, news and idea feasibility investigation and approval processes.  Further to this reports were required to assess the ROI and savings for all ideas and projects rolled out.  Each customer company needed to be able to manage and report on their own projects through the portal.

Digital Tactics

Our digital strategy team ran a series of workshops with Energia and extended 3rd party’s to understand fully the design, technical and security requirements.   We analysed the business unit needs and walked through the processes required from idea generation and assessments, to project approval and rollout.  Users, managers and progress reports (including analytics) were developed and integrated to allow all users at company level to manage all aspects of their projects.
