Driving brand consistancy across all media

Nissan

The Challenge

Continuum have been Nissan Ireland’s digital development partner since 2002.  This project required us to develop and rollout a series of content managed websites for each Nissan dealer in Ireland which fully integrates with their used car database system to extend all used cars, insurance facilities and Nissan Gold Standards to the web.

Each dealer needed the ability to have a unique looking website which they can control fully while still adhering to the Nissan branding guidelines without the worry of needing to understand design, technical coding or SEO concerns.  The solution also required each site to have a mobile version of the website with a UX challenge of ensuring mobile version was optimised for used car and contact dealer calls to action.

Digital Tactics

Our digital strategy team ran a series of workshops initially and interviewed dealers, customers, reviewed statistics and performed usability studies. Our technical team created a custom-made content management system and extranet for Nissan Ireland which integrated fully with their used car system and dealer extranet. A series of styled templates were created for each dealer type to give them a series of looks for their website.  Extensive SEO was carried out to optimise the individual dealer sites per location.
